Kurt Vonnegut explains, “Being a Humanist means trying to behave decently without expectation of rewards or punishment after you are dead.” In the area of Humanism and the Arts, Renaissance Artists were free to create anything they pleased; no longer were they subjected to the interests and the ideals of the Clergy.
